About Us
Rancho de Char Mar was purchased in December of 2000. The ranch is a family run business with David, Penny, and their two sons, John and Jeff managing the operation. The ranch which is just shy of 1,400 acres is located approximately 50 miles West of Temple, Texas. Running though the center of the ranch is beautiful Plum Creek with it’s two-and-a-half miles of crystal-clear water and a Hill Country rock-bottom. Rancho de Char Mar, with it’s rolling hills, slope to bottom land which is in cultivation and native grasses. The ranch was high fenced in November of 2004 and a whitetail deer management program was put in place beginning early 2005. Our first package hunts will be available starting with the October 2011 hunting season.
